The Adelaide University Netball SA First Nations Scholarship offers up to $5,000 per year for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students with an affiliation to Netball SA commencing any undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or pathway program, including online programs at Adelaide University.
Value:
Up to $5,000 per year for up to four years.
Pro-rata payments apply for part-time enrolment
A once off additional payment of $500 will be given upon awarding of the Scholarship.
Recipients who relocate from a rural* area to Adelaide to study will receive an additional payment of $1,500.
* To be eligible for the relocation grant, the home postcode as recorded in the student record, must be outside of Major Cities in Australia

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
⦁ be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Student
⦁ be commencing either full-time or part-time in any undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or pathway program (including Adelaide University Online)
⦁ Have a current affiliation with a Netball SA program/club/association, which has been ongoing for at least 2 years prior to application (this can be as a player, coach, umpire or administrator)
⦁ To be eligible for relocation grant, the home postcode as recorded in your student record must be outside of Major Cities of Australia
Applicants must provide a reference letter from their Netball SA program/club/association confirming their affiliation.
If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the number of scholarships available, the scholarships will be awarded based on Netball SA affiliation as a player and those relocating.
Recipients of this Scholarship may be given the opportunity to conduct a work placement with Netball SA or the Adelaide Thunderbirds netball team.
Recipients of the Adelaide University Netball SA First Nations Scholarship cannot be in receipt of another Adelaide University funded scholarship (recipients may hold one-off grants and prizes).

⦁ One off relocation grant of $1,500 to students relocating from postcodes outside of Major Cities of Australia areas based on the ASGC Remoteness Area result from the Health Workforce locator
⦁ $500 Starter Pack grant paid to all students who are awarded this scholarship
⦁ Bursaries to support accommodation expenses for one year may be available as part of this scholarship
