The ELC Connections program helps you make the most of your time in Adelaide. It’s all about meeting people, having fun, and using your English skills in real life while you study in Adelaide.
Adelaide University’s English Language Centre (ELC) runs social and cultural activities every week, where you can connect with other students, ELC staff, and our friendly Connections volunteers.
It’s your opportunity to explore Adelaide, try new experiences, and feel part of the community, not just the classroom.
Program information
The ELC Connections program is offered to all ELC students who want to improve their communication skills in a fun and relaxed way. If you’re curious about Adelaide and Australian culture and want to make new friends, pick an event and join us – there are a range of social activities and experiences to choose from.
There’s no pressure. No perfect English required. Just come along, enjoy yourself and create great memories during your time at ELC.
By joining the ELC Connections program, you’ll practise speaking and listening in real-life situations and build your confidence using English outside the classroom. You’ll meet and make friends with Australians and students from all over the world while discovering new places around Adelaide.
