Entry requirements

Admission criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must have achieved at least one of the following minimum entry requirements and demonstrate they fulfil any prerequisite and essential criteria for admission. In cases where there are more eligible applicants than available places, admission will be competitive with ranks based on the entry criteria.

Secondary education (Year 12)

  • Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

  • Completion of an award from a registered training organisation (RTO) at Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or higher.

Higher education study

  • Successful completion of at least 6 months full-time study (or equivalent part-time) in a higher education award program.

Work and life experience

  • Completion of an Adelaide University approved enabling, pathway or bridging program; OR
  • A competitive result in the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT); OR
  • Successful completion of an Adelaide University online literacy and numeracy test and have relevant work experience; OR
  • Qualify for special entry.

What you'll learn

Your studies will provide you with comprehensive digital and business knowledge. Understand how emerging technologies can help shape organisations and be ready to apply principles of advanced leadership, stakeholder management, change management and digital project management. 

In your first year, cover business fundamentals including topics on accounting for business, principles of economics, marketing principles and information technology. Be introduced to key elements of digital business – exploring digital technologies in business today and their disrupting impact across industries. 

Second year will build your knowledge on cloud platforms, entrepreneurship for social and market impact, digital solution methodologies, organisational behaviour, project management strategies and designing digital solutions to tackle business problems.   

In third year deepen your knowledge on digital solutions, risk management and governance, strategic management, business practices, international business environments, decision making and the value of digital business transformation. You’ll also have the chance to interview for Accenture’s graduate program – where you’ll learn, grow and develop in a supportive environment and work on real projects with real clients.
