program overview

Overview

Our Master of Marketing is a two-year degree that will advance your marketing skills, preparing you to make strategic decisions and progress into leadership roles.

Be trained to develop effective marketing strategies for diverse audiences. Learn how to identify trends, analyse consumer behaviour, understand analytical data and communicate with impact. Develop the attitude of a global trailblazer with courses in leadership and entrepreneurship. Hone your skills with a marketing research project in your final year.

Depending on your level of experience, this degree could unlock senior marketing positions or an entirely new career. The principles you’ll learn in your master’s degree will be applicable to a variety of roles. Use your expert communication and analytical skills to contribute positively to any businesses and help drive growth.

What you'll learn

Your studies will provide you with fundamental marketing knowledge across strategy, market research and analysis, communication, consumer behaviour and contemporary trends.

In your first year, you’ll gain insight into key areas, concepts and applications of marketing. Focus on topics like advertising, digital marketing, consumer behaviour and marketing analytics. Other topics will develop your leadership potential by exploring team management, entrepreneurship and accounting principles for decision-makers.

In your second year, prepare to make managerial decisions backed by marketing theory, data and trends. You’ll go deep into strategic brand management, global marketing strategies, marketing strategy and planning and services marketing. Your capstone course will be a marketing research project where you’ll analyse data and present your findings. You’ll also choose an elective course in an area of marketing that interests you. Gain the confidence to construct strategic marketing campaigns and deliver tailored marketing advice.

Design a study path that works for you

This degree is part of a stackable set of qualifications, meaning your study choices are flexible. If your goals shift, you can exit after six months of study with a standalone Graduate Certificate or after one year with a Graduate Diploma qualification.

You can also begin your studies with a shorter qualification like the six-month Graduate Certificate and continue on to complete the Graduate Diploma (one year) or full master’s degree.
