Discover all the functions of the body, from respiratory through to cardiovascular, and find out how they function together. Taking a whole-of-lifespan approach, you’ll understand how the body grows and changes from birth to old age.

Your pathology subjects will focus on diseases – their causes, development and effects on the human body. You’ll gain valuable insights into guiding treatments by examining tissues, organs and fluids to identify conditions like infections and cancer. With pharmacology studies, you’ll learn how drugs interact with biological systems and how new medications are developed and tested.

You can also expand your expertise with a second major or elective courses spanning the health and biomedical spectrum. This flexibility is one of the highlights of the Bachelor of Biomedical and Health Sciences degree, allowing you to tailor the course to your interests. And there's no need to decide immediately – you'll have plenty of time to explore and discover what excites you.
