Course overview
In this course, students will explore principles and practice of drawing the human figure, and develop drawing accuracy and interpretive abilities. Students will develop skills in the elements of human anatomy, and knowledge of the theory and practice of life drawing.
Course learning outcomes
- demonstrate drawing and observational skills in figure drawing
- demonstrate competence in using a variety of media to produce drawings
- develop an understanding of contemporary representations of the figurative
