Course overview
In this course, students will develop professional practice skills in the management of communication and swallowing disorders in a range of contemporary settings through the application of speech pathology knowledge and skills acquired in pre-clinical courses. This course will provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate integration of the theoretical, and practical knowledge acquired during the course, and consider this in light of legislative and ethical complexities. The course will also prepare graduates to work within a range of contemporary settings. The focus will be working with complex adults, carers and older clients as well working within the aged care sector.
