Course overview

This course will enable students to effectively implement and evaluate a project in partnership with a community agency. Engaging in implementing a project proposal, submitting the research report, and disseminating the findings.

Course learning outcomes

  • Manage and monitor the planned project demonstrating effective skills in communication and negotiation, resource management (human and non-human), networking, identification of problems and capacity to address these in a politically and socially acceptable manner
  • Prepare a comprehensive written report of the project and its outcomes highlighting the innovation in design and delivery
  • Effectively present and disseminate information about the project and its outcomes
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical practice
