Course overview
Develop students abilities in the field of professional outdoor leadership in an aquatic environment. Students will learn to plan, prepare, manage risk, instruct safe practices, and respond to critical incidents in aquatic environments for learning, therapeutic or developmental outcomes.

Course learning outcomes
- Apply and adapt skills and knowledge in a complex environment to (independently) lead, guide andinstruct in safe outdoor travel in an outdoor activity such as kayaking
- Plan and implement an activity in an aquatic setting such as kayaking
- Critically analyse and then evaluate a range of teaching and learning methods in aquatic environments
- Perform a comprehensive risk assessment in a complex environment

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
