Course overview

This course aims to provide students with knowledge regarding the Commercial Operations of sport and recreation organisations, specifically how they manage their need to generate and maintain revenue streams, and fund their operations and programs. The course also aims to develop knowledge of marketing principles as they uniquely apply to the sport and recreation setting. Individuals who can successfully assist sport organisations in this area are highly sought after. This course is designed to provide students with knowledge, skills, and techniques in the area of commercial operations that will provide an advantage when securing future job opportunities in the sport and recreation industry.
