Course overview
The aim of this course is to explore the concept of wellness in contemporary society and apply it to understand the importance of sport and recreation in positively enhancing health and quality of life. In doing so, it enhances critical thinking and analysis skills in students by considering the managerial and policy aspects of wellness in terms of individual and more general community health and the role that a variety of key stakeholders play in contributing to a 'happy' and 'well' society.
