Course overview
This course will give students a sound understanding of the sport and recreation industry in Australia. Students will be introduced to key stakeholders within the sport and recreation industry and explore the key managerial skills, knowledge, and tasks of those responsible for the oversight and provision of sport and recreation opportunities. Students will also examine industry application of various theoretical models and concepts.
