Course overview
The aim of this course is to increase students’ knowledge and skills in trauma-informed practice. The course will be framed by an intersectional understanding of gendered violence and other forms of interpersonal violence and abuse. The course will cover intimate partner violence; family and domestic violence; rape and sexual assault; sexual harassment; racialized violence; elder abuse; and other forms of abuse related to disability, gender identity and sexual identity.
