Course overview
This course will enable the student to engage in the development of his/her social work practice, in a supported learning environment, and located in a practice setting. Students will complete a 500-hour placement in which their professional selves will be developed. Using theory in practice will involve understanding the role of values and ethics, process and purpose, the professional relationship, accountability and competence, approaches to intervention strategies.
