Course overview
This course aims to develop students’ understanding of different approaches to counselling from a theoretical and practical perspective. Building upon foundational knowledge and skills, the course delves into different approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. Students will critically evaluate these approaches and identify appropriate approaches to counselling in different contexts and scenarios. This course aligns with the program’s intent to equip students with knowledge and interpersonal skills for future work with individuals, groups and communities from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.
