Course overview

After successfully completing this course, students will be able to critically review the principles underlying research, identify the range of research methods and design used in different fields, and critically evaluate their application in research planning and development. Students will investigate the range of research methodologies and designs in the social sciences, research paradigms/frameworks, ethics, research project management, planning and development.

  • Critically interpret the range of research methods used in their field of study
