Course overview
This is an elective course in the Graduate Certificate in Research Skills and Master of Research programs intended to provide an introduction to academic writing styles that are used to communicate research outcomes in a range of different disciplines, with an opportunity to develop effective writing skills appropriate to a particular discipline.
Course learning outcomes
- Identify the style of writing appropriate for a particular research communication objective in a selected discipline.
- Create summaries, presentations and academic papers that present the outcomes of research processes in a style appropriate to a selected discipline.
