Course overview
This Placement provides education and training in professional practice and skills to prepare the student for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Course learning outcomes
- Apply the professional standards and codes of conduct to practice
- Use feedback from placement supervisor(s) and other colleagues and professionals to improve professional practice
- Integrate interpersonal and organisational skills into practice
- Select, administer and interpret assessment results and interventions to an appropriate professional standard
- Interview a diverse range of people competently
- Use skills to provide appropriate evidenced-based interventions and approaches for organisations and people, including people from diverse backgrounds
