Course overview

This is an empirically-based research project on a topic of relevance to Organisational Psychology, pursued under the guidance of one or more supervisors (at least one of whom shall be a member of the School of Psychology). The project should be structured so that students participate in all of the steps involved in the research, including the formulation of the research question(s), the design of the study including the selection of appropriate methodology, the collection and analysis of data, the interpretation of the findings, and preparation of the report in the form of a publishable article.

Course learning outcomes

  • Review critically research in one or more fields of organisational psychology.
  • Acquire knowledge and competency in the design and completion of research studies in organisational psychology
  • Acquire and apply skills in critical analysis
