Course overview

The aim of this course is to develop students' research skills and techniques required to produce a research proposal and presentation, and ethics application for a Master of Psychology (Clinical) research project. Students will investigate qualitative and quantitative research methods, project management, ethics, and their application to clinical research, research designs including single-case designs, and methods to evaluate service delivery. The principles and procedures governing the use of statistics in clinical research will also be covered. Students will be instructed in the production of a research proposal and ethics application for their Master of Psychology (Clinical) research project.
