Course overview
The aim of this course is to enable students to practice and apply clinical psychology skills and therapeutic techniques with clients in an external setting. Students will integrate their assessment, formulation and evaluation skills by undertaking supervised placements in external settings. Students will conduct psychological work with clients of the service in which they are placed.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate advanced skills in assessment, formulation and evaluation and treatment of clients with a range of psychological problems.
- Demonstrate competence in self-reflective practice in a clinical psychology setting.
