Course overview
The aim of this course is to enable students to practice and competently apply clinical psychology skills and therapeutic techniques with clients referred to the UniSA Psychology Clinic. Students will undertake supervised placement experience with regular feedback. Students will participate in workshops covering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills and ethical practice under the supervision of qualified and accredited Clinical Psychologists.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate basic skills in assessment, formulation, evaluation, and treatment of clients with a range of psychological problems
- Demonstrate basic skills required to work collaboratively as a psychologist within a team and independently
