Course overview
How do you apply psychological knowledge and interventions to improve psychological and practical outcomes. The aim of this course is to introduce the knowledge required to think like a psychologist when designing psychological interventions in health, clinical, organisational, and population contexts. Students will learn theoretical foundations of psychological interventions, critically appraise, and design a psychological intervention for a specific context that is ethical and culturally appropriate. This course aligns with the programs intent to provide psychological intervention strategies that can be applied across a range of contexts, including cross-cultural contexts.
