Course overview
The aim of this course is for students to recognise, articulate, and apply their skills as a graduate with expertise in the science of human thinking and behaviour undertaking a 100-hour Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience. A variety of WIL experiences will be offered, including industry-based, research-based, and virtual internships, where you will work to respond to contemporary societal challenges. These experiences are designed to help you apply your psychological knowledge and skills to a diverse range of real-world work situations to enhance your employability and make a meaningful contribution to the community.

Course learning outcomes
- Apply psychological knowledge, theory, and skills in ways that are responsive to the context (e.g. considerate of the end user, culture, diverse groups), and in ways that protect public safety.
- Demonstrate professional conduct and appropriate interpersonal skills, including working effectively in diverse teams.
- Articulate the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities that psychology graduates can offer in professional contexts.
- Demonstrate ongoing reflexivity regarding one’s psychological knowledge, skills, abilities, and strengths toward an intended career pathway.
