Course overview

The aim of this course is to develop students' advanced understanding of the major theories of personality psychology and critically examine the methodologies and instruments employed in personality research. Students will develop an advanced knowledge of the contemporary study of personality and its theoretical background, including but not limited to basic issues in personality, personality and science, history and measurement of personality, motivation and the regulation of control of behaviour, evolutionary and biological foundations of personality, personality and emotion, interpersonal relationships, and mental health.
