Course overview

This course aims to equip learners with advanced and integrated knowledge and skills to plan, execute, and manage procurement and contract activities throughout a project lifecycle. Students will explore various theoretical concepts and practical procurement processes, including procurement planning, solicitation methods, procurement and contracting strategies, tendering procedures, drafting specifications, evaluation techniques, ethical procurement practices, and the application of contract law. The course also covers contract administration, closeout procedures, supply chain management, and strategies for resolving contract disputes. This course aligns with the program’s intent to provide advanced understanding and technical skills necessary for effective project management.
