Course overview
This course is designed to familiarise students with major research platforms in biomedical biotechnology research. Covering essential topics such as genomics, proteomics, antibody engineering, flow cytometry, and genome editing, the course bridges theoretical knowledge with its application to real-world scenarios. Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by analysing experimental data and interpreting the scientific literature. The course prepares learners for advanced studies and careers in biotechnology and is delivered alongside the complementary course: Advanced Research Techniques, which exposes students to the practical use of platform technologies.

Course learning outcomes
