Course overview
These courses are designed to meet the Education Requirements for the SA Community Pharmacy Expanded Scope of Practice Initiative. In these courses, pharmacists will develop their professional capabilities in providing timely and appropriate care for people presenting with commonly encountered primary healthcare problems, aligned with the initiative. This part of the program will reinforce the approach and apply skills gained in Pharmacist Prescribing Skills 1 and 2, including the application of the prescribing framework, undertaking of healthcare procedures (e.g. wound care, fluoride application), interprofessional communication and collaborative practice, and self-reflection.
