Course overview
In this course, students will develop skills in literature collection and review; data collection, analysis, interpretation; and in the communication of research findings to inform practice. Students will complete a practice-based research project relevant to pharmacy practice.
Course learning outcomes
- Critically review and evaluate existing literature
- Relate the existing literature, intended methodology, and research plan to the research hypothesis.
- Develop and utilise problem-solving skills to identify then resolve potential research limitations.
- Communicate research findings clearly and coherently in verbal and written expression.
- Evaluate the implications of the research findings for the relevant pharmacy practice setting.
