Course overview
To provide students with knowledge of the pathophysiology of selected organ systems and the mechanisms of action of therapeutic agents used to treat disorders of these systems.
Course learning outcomes
- Explain the pathophysiology of key diseases affecting the major organ systems: integumentary, reproductive, renal, urogenital, cardiovascular and respiratory
- Describe pharmacological properties of specific classes of drugs used to treat diseases of these systems
- Predict the likely mechanism of action of a drug, and its likely adverse effects, based on the properties of that drug class
- Describe drug-drug interactions for specific classes of drugs

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
