Course overview

This course will familiarise students with industry approaches to staging theatre. Students analyse influential theatre works and the approach of contemporary theatre artists to texts and performance. The course is co-ordinated by staff from the University of South Australia and is taught by staff from the State Theatre Company of South Australia. It exposes students to industry work models and processes through first-hand contact with key theatre artists. Students prepare, design and perform an existing text.
