The aim of this course is to research, critically analyse and reflect on the qualities and competencies of a leader and manager to effectively guide teams, facilitate change, enhance safety and quality, administer resources and positively influence workplace culture to improve clinical care.

Course learning outcomes
- Analyse and synthesize strategies and enablers for building effective teams and leading change, applying theories and models to real-world clinical scenarios
- Reflect on personal leadership strengths and areas for improvement, employing advanced reflective practices to enhance professional growth and practice and impact on workforce culture
- Critically examine and appraise methods for leading quality and safety initiatives, assessing their impact on consumer outcomes and organisational practices within healthcare environments
- Critically evaluate the qualities, competencies, and styles of effective leaders and managers, to understand their practical implications in healthcare settings
