Course learning outcomes
- Analyse the ethical principles that underpin research
- Apply critical thinking skills and enquiry strategies to search databases and locate credible, clinically relevant research literature
- Critically evaluate the skills required to incorporate research findings into nursing practice
- Explain the relationship between knowledge, research and evidence-based practice
- Describe the principles of evidence-based practice and integrate these principles into the application of person-centred nursing care
- Critique research literature using appropriate frameworks and tools
