  • Analyse the ethical principles that underpin research
  • Apply critical thinking skills and enquiry strategies to search databases and locate credible, clinically relevant research literature

  • Explain the relationship between knowledge, research and evidence-based practice
  • Describe the principles of evidence-based practice and integrate these principles into the application of person-centred nursing care
  • Critique research literature using appropriate frameworks and tools
