Course overview
This is the final year of the MBBS degree. This course also includes the Dean's elective, a compulsory 4-week elective experience often taken overseas.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate professional behaviours including advocacy and leadership in healthcare.
- Evaluate individual and population health status, and where necessary, formulate, implement and monitor management plans in consultation with other health professionals, patients, carers and communities.
- Promote and optimise the health and welfare of individuals and populations.
- Retrieve, critically evaluate, interpret and apply evidence in the performance of health-related activities.
- Deliver safe and effective collaborative healthcare.
