Course overview
The aim of this course is to provide students with exposure to ‘real life' current medical research and opportunities in the field. Evaluation of scientific literature, project planning and scientific communication. Development of research questions.
Course learning outcomes
- Communicate scientific knowledge competently using appropriate terminology and language.
- Appraise new research methods and approaches.
- Select and critically evaluate scientific literature.
- Synthesise knowledge by engaging in scientific discourse with the scientific community and research literature.
