Course overview
This course will enable learners to synthesise and apply the knowledge and skills gained from other courses in the program to an industry project. Students will work collaboratively with an industry mentor to plan, design and deliver a strategic communication project that supports an organisations goals and helps enhance its communication efforts. The course will provide students an immersive opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience, and to build employability skills and industry networks.

Course learning outcomes
- Design and conduct an appropriate and achievable research project in the disciplines of Media and/or Communication
- Identify and address an industry-relevant issue or problem through the critical analysis of an issue or case study
- Locate, evaluate and synthesise relevant industry and academic literature related to the chosen topic
- Critically analyse the chosen issue or topic through the identification and application of key theories and concepts in Media and Communication
- Articulate a clear, substantiated and sustained argument informed by theory and practice in Media and/or Communication
