Course overview

This course introduces students to a variety of theories and issues concerning gender, sexuality, and representation, with a focus on audio-visual culture; students will develop the ability to critically analyse and contextualise representations of gender and sexuality across a variety of screen media.

  • Identify key themes, issues, and theories concerning gender, sexuality, and representation in screen culture
