Course overview

Building on the concepts and skills acquired in introduction to film and television this creative practice-led course will employ filmmaking as a mode of enquiry to explore the notion of an Australian national cinema in the context of key political, social, economic, and industrial drivers, including the maturation of Aboriginal filmmaking.

Course learning outcomes

  • Employ the use of an essay film as a method of critical enquiry
