Course overview

This course uses a dynamic research-informed understanding of the relationship between social media, identity and persona with attention to fandom, representational paradigms, influencers, and cultural politics. Students will be introduced to and learn to unpack the differences between persona 2 performances and other structures of identity performances across a range of personal, professional, and collective media.
