Course overview

This course will introduce students to core film and television history, theoretical concepts, production roles and practical skills that will allow them to develop their capacities as filmmakers. They will explore the key industry roles needed to create a professional quality film, including directing, cinematography, editing, sound recording, producing, and production design. Through this course, students will apply their skills and knowledge as they work in teams to produce short fiction films.
