Students will undertake an internship in an industry setting linked to their area of study, where their skills and knowledge can be applied. The internship requires reflection on the application of their knowledge and skills in a professional context and the development and reinforcement of professional competency.

Course learning outcomes
- CLO1: Employ an understanding of industry context to help an organisation achieve workplace outcomes, including security and ethical principles (preservation of privacy, ensuring security measures, and upholding intellectual property rights)
- CLO2: Apply mathematical techniques & knowledge gained through prior learning throughout their degree to effectively address & solve requirements of the workplace provider.
