Course overview

The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary mathematical foundations for a program in data analytics. The aim of this course is topics covered in this course include: arithmetic and algebraic operations, linear equations in one and two variables, quadratic equations, logarithmic and exponential functions, matrices and determinants, absolute value and inequalities, sets, basic probability and statistics.
