Course overview

The aim of this course is to develop foundational research skills in the mathematical sciences. This will include learning about fundamental topics in mathematical reasoning and arguments, as well as working on open-ended problems, independent reading and completion of guided discovery projects. Students will present their results orally and via written reports produced in LaTeX.
