This course aims to equip students with specialist property asset management skills and knowledge, enhancing their broad property education. It covers principles and practices essential for effective property asset management from both traditional and corporate real estate perspectives. The course addresses contemporary issues such as sustainability, indoor environmental quality, and occupant well-being. It applies universally applicable principles, referencing South Australian legislation where relevant. Course learning outcomes

  • Discuss agency legislation and its application to agency practice
  • Examine the principles of marketing property, including ascertaining clients' and consumers' objectives, negotiating strategies and reporting to clients
