Course overview

Students are required to write a supervised research dissertation on an approved topic. The dissertation will be written and assessed in accordance with procedures approved from time to time by the Dean of Law.

Course learning outcomes

  • Analyse the foundational principles of their chosen thesis topic
  • Undertake complex legal research with primary and secondary materials
  • Critique the operation of law from a policy perspective
  • Structure and sustain cohesive written arguments for a legal audience
