Course overview

This course extends understandings of complex long-form journalism developed in the Feature Writing course through a focus on the principles and practice of investigative journalism. Data analysis, interviewing, writing and ethical practice will be explored and developed through the lens of investigative journalism, enabling students to develop a high-level understanding of this challenging area of journalism, and to apply their understandings in production of their own work.
