Course overview

The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the management, administration, and business knowledge and skills required for professional interior design practice. Through exploration of practice theory, interdisciplinary collaboration, and contract administration, students will develop expertise in portfolio preparation, verbal presentation techniques, and business development strategies. To expand students' understanding of professional design practice and to support their transition into practice, the course will equip them with the tools and insights necessary to navigate the complexities of the industry, promote their professional practice, and compete successfully in the marketplace.
