Course overview
This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively use business information systems and business intelligence for enhanced decision-making. The course follows the CRISP-DM framework to decompose and structure the intelligence/analytic task and guides students in applying this framework in real-world scenarios. Practical component of the course introduces students to Tableau (professional visualisation tool) and KNIME (free, open analytic system similar to SAS, introducing the concept of workflow assembly from configurable nodes of functionality).
