Course overview
This course contextualises agile project management knowledge and skills at the workplace. This course consolidates the concepts taught pertaining to Agile project management by having students embedded in an agile team or project management processes relevant to the workplace. Students will use an industry agile process or project management techniques appropriate to the workplace to contribute to the development of an information technology solution and demonstrate competencies in project management tasks and activities.
Course learning outcomes
- Contribute to the composition of a refined product backlog or equivalent project management technique
- Demonstrate sprint planning and build sprint backlog or equivalent project management technique
- Undertake multiple sprints and participate in daily stand-ups or equivalent
- Design and develop a potentially shippable product increment for each sprint or equivalent tempo management technique
- Review each sprint and evaluate team performance using retrospectives on each sprint or equivalent process improvement approach
