Course overview

This course aims to develop the knowledge and skills required to support implementing and troubleshooting advanced routing technologies and services in enterprise networks. Building upon concepts developed, this course delves into advanced routing, multi-casting, quality of service operations, virtual private networking, infrastructure services and network management. This course aligns with the intent of the program to develop networking professionals.

Course learning outcomes

  • Identify and configure advanced routing solutions to satisfy complex networking requirements
  • Analyse multicast and quality of service operations in an enterprise network
  • Demonstrate the skills required to configure and troubleshoot virtual private networks and related technologies
  • Use network and device management tools and troubleshoot related issues
  • Investigate, diagnose, and rectify routing problems in enterprise networks
  • Document an implementation plan which includes determining the most appropriate design parameters including routing and other advanced protocols
